Insid【 e 】 th【 e 】 【 e 】ngin【 e 】 room, th【 e 】 damp【 e 】r mount cap was crack【 e 】d, so I r【 e 】pair【 e 】d it, r【 e 】appli【 e 】d th【 e 】 mirror s【 e 】al sh【 e 】【 e 】t, and install【 e 】d bill【 e 】t parts in th【 e 】 c【 e 】nt【 e 】r. Pr【 e 】viously, I had past【 e 】d a donut-shap【 e 】d stick【 e 】r on it, but it had 【 e 】xpand【 e 】d and contract【 e 】d du【 e 】 to th【 e 】 h【 e 】at, causing som【 e 】 wrinkl【 e 】s and coming off th【 e 】 surfac【 e 】, so as a count【 e 】rm【 e 】asur【 e 】, this tim【 e 】 I divid【 e 】d th【 e 】 arc into four parts.
I tri【 e 】d s【 e 】arching for th【 e 】 r【 e 】l【 e 】vant part (damp【 e 】r mount cap: 52748-SA7-000) at a Honda d【 e 】al【 e 】r, but unfortunat【 e 】ly it was out of stock.
半ツヤ塗装で仕上げ、ミラーシールシートを貼ります。
面を整えるため、プラサフ塗装とヤスリ掛けを数回繰り返します。
脱脂して、手持ちのつや消し黒で塗装してみました。
ビレットパーツは裏からボルト留めします。
中心部にボルトを通す穴を開けます。
表側はハンダゴテを当てて合わせ目を溶かしつけます。
接合完了。強度は十分でしょう。
割れ目を接着剤でつけた後、ステイプラーの針を曲げた状態にしてハンダゴテを当て、接合部に溶かし入れて強度を高めます。縫合手術だ。
予備を一つ持っていたけど、一つは形状が異なっていた事に気づく... 同じ品番で２種あったのかな??
経年劣化でパキッと割れてしまった（涙
良い感じに収まったと思います。
こうして引いて見るとよくわからないかも。
